Timeline Sessions for Individuals
These sessions are for adults as well as for children.
Phone sessions are available for out-of-town clients.
Timeline is an NLP process that accesses and releases pivotal limiting decisions that hold in place dysfunctional patterns in your relationships, self-esteem, career, financial situation and other areas of your life that aren’t working. It is an inherently hypnotic process, enabling participants to access the first event in which they made the limiting decision, which is necessary in order to clear it. Timeline is structured in a very particular way, according to how the brain works, making it very effective. A significant limiting decision is usually cleared in each session. Jane’s penetrating intuitive and empathic skills, and the Life is Meant to Work thought system, combined with this powerful process, facilitate profound life changes. Sessions for Couples
This is also for any kind of relationship:
such as between business partners or associates,
with family members, and with friends.
The purpose of these sessions is to:
- Bring into objective focus what isn’t working in the relationship from both of your points-of-view
- Help each of you understand your partner’s experience
- Facilitate communication
- Bring to the surface the limiting decisions holding what is dysfunctional between you in place.
Jane then usually schedules individual Timeline sessions to clear the specific limiting decisions.

Definitions
NLP is the study of the language of the mind, how our subjective experience is created, and how it can be changed. One way NLP facilitates change is through working with the structure of how we keep dysfunctional life experiences alive, rather than dwelling on the content of them. The techniques, developed from the fundamentals of Neuro-Linguistics, are magnificently empowering. Those of us who experience them discover how we are in charge of our life, rather than a victim of it.
Limiting Decisions are at the core of how our dysfunctional patterns get formed. They are created when we are very young (usually before 7 or 8 years old) when something occurs that we can’t assimilate for one reason or another — perhaps it’s too intense or overwhelming, and we don’t have the conscious tools to make sense of it. So we get thrown into a state of chaos or confusion, a very uncomfortable state that most people try to get out of as quickly as they can. The conscious mind basically blows a fuse, it stops functioning, and the unconscious mind takes over.
Our unconscious mind then decides on a meaning for what we just saw, felt or heard, based on the amount of experience and development we have had up to that point in our young life. We might decide something like, “I’m ugly,” or “the world is a dangerous place,” or “I’m no good,” etc. Then the conscious mind takes back over, not realizing the unconscious mind has made a decision.
From that point on our experience of life is filtered through that unconscious decision, like an unconscious assumption about the nature of life. And we are very invested in proving that that decision is true, even though it is negative, because it represents a source of stability — so if something similar to that occurs, we think we know what it means. Some of the ways we keep proving it is true is by the way we interpret various events or situations in our life, and by the type of people and situations we are attracted to or attract to ourselves.
On the other hand, since it is a negative decision and it would be devastating if we really thought it was true, we avoid coming into present moment reality in that area of experience by developing defense systems to avoid it, so we never find out what the truth is. This is held in place by the unconscious mind, which is where the decision was made. This is why people do the same kind of dysfunctional behavior over and over again, or find themselves in the same dysfunctional situations or relationships, even when they know it isn’t good for them.

depression
I have some limeting beliefs, fear, guilt and it seems to get me depressed more than I would like. I see these videos on youtube. Where Tad james helps clear peoples negative emotions. I mean all of them from the past. That looks very useful. I have done many sessions with yuen, matrix, emotion code, eft and even more than I can remember. However, it all seems to come back and did not get to the root of the issue. I even got certified in matrix energetics and learned much of the yuen method and ther nlp modalites. However, it loks as though timeline therapy seems to get deeper then ther others.
Is it really that easy like Tad James makes it look? Do you do phone sessions for I am not near you? How much do you charge per session?
Reply to your question about NLP TimeLine sessions
Hi Zack,
I just now saw your comment, or I would have replied sooner. The NLP TimeLine process is the fastest, most effective process for change that I know of. And the reason I focus my practice on that particular process is because it does get to the root of the issue, rather than deal with just the symptoms, which many other modalities focus on. If you don't get to the root, you're right, it does just come back, sometimes in another form. In my experience, the NLP TimeLine process is an easy process for most people. And yes, I do phone sessions. You are welcome to give me a call at (760) 753-0733 if you'd like to discuss this further, to see if this is right for you.
